Working from her studio on Kauai’s North Shore, Michal transforms lived encounters with island light, ocean, landscape, and tropical vegetation into original paintings of remarkable color and presence.

Life becomes extraordinary when we allow ourselves to see its beauty.
A changing sky. Ocean color shifting by the minute. Sunlight warming the skin. Tropical leaves moving in the wind. The sudden freedom of feeling completely alive.
Each painting begins with direct experience. Michal observes a place until its essential feeling becomes clear, then builds that encounter through saturated color, movement, and atmosphere.
Her visual-arts education in Paris broadened her perspective; years of painting and daily life in the islands formed her artistic voice. The work does not simply document Hawaii. It holds its warmth, wonder, sensuality, and presence.
